Take a look. The pictures tell their own story.
What lies beyond the banks of snow at the edge of the road?
I'm gonna take a "look see"!
Through the Arctic tundra (aka, our driveway), Dylan marches, intent on reaching his destination.
Aha! All I see is more snow and more slush. There's nowhere to go.
Oooh! One of my foots is gettin' wet! Maybe there's something more interesting back at home base.
The intrepid Dylan realizes the impossibility of his mission and returns home in defeat. But at least "defeet" aren't totally soaking wet -- yet.
Ah! Dry land again. It's been a long journey, but one well worth taking -- just to satisfy curiosity, if nothing else.
Have you ever seen a look that has more PURRPUSS?
Back on the safety of the nice dry porch, Dylan surveys the rest of his domain.
Then suddenly he leaps! It certainly is quite the leap year for Dylan and it's still only January!
(Note: This is not the same picture that was posted on Saturday, January 16th. If you take a look back, you can see that Dylan is jumping in the opposite direction.)
Dylan's settled on the cat bench. He's taken catmouflage behind the bush! All the better to snoopervise.
And as we leave, here's one final close-up of the brave and mancatly Dylan. You can see that he is PURRpetually vigilant, as a mancat must be. He's just biding his time.
A mancat goes on even when faced with defeat. He knows that his job is never done and he will try again when the time (and the weather) is right!
Great pictures! We hope your feet soon warmed up Dylan!
Wot an awesome pawsome adventure! And that leap was amazing. Dylan the explorer cat!
PS: can yoo tell Dommy that I will be posting a photo of her on my bloggie tomorrow (taken on her recent visit).
Smoochies from Milo for her. xxxxxx
Dylan, you are such a true mancat! Happy Mancat Monday!
Dylan: you are brave to explore the frozen tundra of your savannah! You look regal as you survey, especially in that last photo.Stay warm and dry, my fellow man cat!
Wow...Dylan looks so mancatly! I would let him protect me.
Dylan you are quite the protector and so brave to be walking out in the snow.
YOu are quite the floofy mancat, always vigilant and ready to protect your turf. Stay warm and next time put on some warm boots. Many boots of course.
A smart mancat knows his limits. And Dylan certainly does. And a great jumper too (but we already knew that, of course).
You are our SuperHero, Dylan...where would Dante and Domino be if you weren't out there checking things out to make sure y'all are safe. Loved the pics of a very handsome mancat!!!!! xxxxxxxxx
What an amazing leap! You certainly are athletic! Maybe you can get your mama to get you some snow boots; mine did but she thinks they are hers!
We always enjoy watching Dylan effortlessly exhibit his mancatliness...
Dylan, you are a real adventurer
You did well to explore the frozen tundra. Come rain, hail or snow, things still have to be checked out. We hope your toesies soon thawed out.
Oh Dylan, you are so brave! So nice of you to protect your property. Loved the pinned back ears! Hope your toesies didn't get too cold.
What a brave explorer you are!
Oh, furry mancatly and quite vigilant!
We are glad you did not go any further on your adventure. Always be careful!
