Today, Domino had a visitor come to call on her. He is an ex-suitor, that just didn't suit her!
You may recognize Figaro (Figgy for short) from previous posts about him. He is a neighbour kitty who has a romantic history with Domino. They were boyfriend and girlfriend for a couple of years and used to run around together at night during the summer months. They had even considered marriage, when Domino found out that Figgy was cheating on her with a number of other ladycats in the area.
Figgy may not be a Tiger, but he is one big cheat of a house panther! He did everything Tiger "wood" do, and has paid the price. He has lost the affections of the beautiful Domino forever.
Dante looks on while Domino ignores Figgy.
Figgy is pleading with her to reconsider. He still loves her, he says.
Domino says: "You're HISS-tory!", and Figgy lowers his head in shame.
Figgy wants to know if they can still be friends ...
... but Domino just walks away.
Domino sits on the bench and thinks of Milo so far away! This encounter with Figgy has only made her yearn more for Milo.
Domino knows that Milo has been true to her, even though he has had the opportunity to see other ladycats when he is not with her.
Milo recently interviewed the beautiful and talented Nora, the piano-playing cat, but it was just business to Milo. He had only Domino in his heart. (Alfie, on the other hand, was being a bit flirtatious -- but that's okay!).
With her big brother looking on, Domino stares off into the distance once more, sending purrs of love across the ocean. Did you feel that, Milo?
Both Domino and Milo have been tried by circumstances that keep them apart, and yet they both still only have eyes and hearts for each other. Now that's true love -- and that's forever!
Awwww ... Dommy, boogie on over to mine, I'm waiting for yoo ...
That Domino... She's very PURRticular! I think PURRhaps thought that she is commitment phobic if she choses a long distance relationship over the real deal up close and PURRsonal!
Domino is one tough lady cat, thats good though gotta protect that heart! Silly Figgy you missed out on a good thing! Oh and Dante in the superman coat.....ADORABLE!
Fantastic photos, and good for you, Domino........Milo is worth 1,000 Figgys!!!!!!!!
We visit several of your pages and aren't sure which one to leave this message on, but have decided it will be here.......Ma wanted us to thank you for stopping by and helping make her 90th even lovelier....it was a wonderful day for her. And thanks from us also......xxxxxxx
Long distance relationships are hard. We are glad Dommy and Milo are making it work!
Love Dante in his hoodie!
Domino, I think you are much better off with the fabulous Milo. You chose wisely!
Oh Domino, those boy cats can be just awful. You are lucky to have found a great mancat like Milo.
Such a honest and true ladycat! Milo sure is one lucky guy!
love the narrative. so cute. also lovn the kitty sweatshirt with the floof poofn out. adorable!!
Lola wasn't so sure that Alfie flirting was okay.
We like how Domino put Figgy down. Way to go girl!
Domino...tell that two-timer to hit the road!! You're much better off with Milo!!
(and we love Dante in his Superman jacket!! so cute!)
What a great love story.
Good for you, Domino. And we think Milo is wonderful.
You're right to not let Figgy sweet talk you Domino. You and Milo were made for each other.
Why is it that us gentle and delicate ladies must pine away for mancats that live so furry far aways?
Would you please do me a favor? I am posting a photo fur you's brofur, Mr. Dante' tomorrow. I would most aPURReciate his attention to my missive.
Miss Camille Suzanne
Domino was giving Figgy the cold shoulder!
Jack and I think you are right to be true to yourself (and Milo) Domino. Figgy will never know all that he lost. Great pictures of all of you.
Follow your heart, Domino!
Domino, it's good that you stood up for yourself and let Figgy know his place - in the past! We surely hope it all works out for you and Milo, long distance relationships can be so tough.
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
