THURSDAY SPECIAL: VIDEOS IN 3-D

Today we have something special. I have a short video of each one of the 3-Ds. The first two will only take seconds of your time, and the last one is barely over one minute.

For this kind of 3-D video, you don't even need any special glasses. Of course, they don't have the spectacular effects that those other kind of 3-D movies have. But they're good for a smile or two anyway.

First up is Domino. I think I have mentioned before that she has a spastic tail, due to an injury she sustained from her first owner. He used to pull her tail until it cracked, and he actually thought she enjoyed it -- that it was some kind of game (how dense some people can be). Anyway, as the temperatures get cooler, Domino's tail goes off on her more and more often. Poor little thing tries to run away from it, but it always catches up with her.



Next up is Dante who decided to take a stroll on top of Daddy's car. I wanted him to stay, but, being ever so contrary, he didn't co-operate.




And finally, we have a video of Dylan, with a small co-starring role from Dante. They are both out there sniffing all the scentmarks that have been left behind by themselves and others. Some need to be refreshed, as you will see.

TUXY TUESDAY: DOMINO TAKES A BATH

It's Tuesday, and Domino is atop the cat tree. It's a great place to take a bath and be totally undisturbed. In addition, you've got the light coming in the windows so you can see where you need to clean.

This is almost as good as an instructional video, because you basically get the play-by-play action.



Are you ready? Because Domino is. So let's begin.





I love the way she rests her little footie on top of her shoulder.



And then, there's the toe spread -- gotta get all of that toe jam -- yum!




Well, that was quite the workout, in addition to having a bath! How many of you can work out and get clean at the same time?

Once more tuxies reign suPURReme!

MANCAT MONDAY: DANTE AND DYLAN IN SUN AND WIND!

It's Mancat Monday and the two mancats have been out in the front yard again. Happily for them, it's another sunny day.

Here's Dylan on the cat bench (also used for visitors). Notice how the sun is giving him a glowing white aura. He looks so angelic, don't you think?


I love these pictures because you can actually see the beams of light! Some call them light faeries. Oh, and there's squirrelly in the background, too.


What was that? Another little black devil, perhaps?


Dylan seems to be perpetually on alert with that semi-terrified look on his face!


Oh, and here's the sun giving Dylan a kiss. He's an actual Sunkist! LOL! Isn't that sweet?


And, here's King Dante surveying his Kingdom!


Aha! Something has come within his PURRview!


Of course, it's an evil squirrel! And Dante looks like he's giving it the evil eye -- some of it's own medicine, so to speak. Seems like Mr. Squirrel is getting ready to hightail it!


Here Dante is looking very regal indeed. He's asserting his dominance once more.


The wind ripples through his Majesty's furs adding a hint of whimsy to his royal portrait.


So, all is well in the Mancats' Manor. The sun and wind have caressed them, and they feel one with nature. What a great Monday to be a Mancat and to be alive!

THANKFUL THURSDAY: SUNNY 3-Ds!

It's been sunny and relatively warm for the last several days and the 3-Ds are taking advantage of it! They've been out more than usual and just soaking up the rays.

The sun is at its peak much earlier in the day, and gives us its maximum benefit in the hours just after noon.

Each of my kitties is virtually alight! The sun has touched them all uniquely, and for this they are very thankful.


Here's Dylan checking out the scent mark on the bench. He's freshening it up a little, too.


A sunkissed Dylan is resting under the leafless tree, still partially shaded by its large trunk.


Dante turns to fire at times like this!


He's my goofy, but very hot and hunky mancat!


Domino's certainly enjoying the unseasonable warmth. Her black coat soaks in the heat like a sponge with water.


She's smiling prettily in this one. Enjoy the sun now while you can, Domino!

Here's a little extra action. Domino is talking up a storm in this one, so you might want to turn up the volume a little. I think she's telling me she wants to go back inside now. What do you think she's saying?



And Dante is talking, too! (This time with his mouth, not his 'tocks.) He definitely wants in.
I don't need any translation on this one.


Dylan wasn't saying anything at all, so that's why he doesn't have a video today. He has some upcoming releases, though, so stay tuned to this channel.

REMEMBERING TOGETHER WITH DOMINO AND MILO

Domino and Milo, a Canadian and a Brit, take a moment of silence, together, to remember those who were lost...


... so we could ALL be free!

TUXY TUESDAY: DOMINO OUT AND ABOUT!

First we have Domino sitting on our neighbour's porch. She believes that it belongs to her, so in her view it's not trespassing (or even tresPUSSing)!


Their garden is winding down like everywhere else, but it still holds fascination for the territorial feline.


Domino's about to leap!


Dante's also standing in their garden bed. It looks like both of them just spotted an evil squirrel (what else?).


Obviously, to Domino, squirrels are only of passing interest. She turns her nose to the garden decoration. It must have some pretty funky smells on it.


Domino's a very good multi-tasker, though. She can look at a squirrel and sniff stuff at the same time. You try it -- it's pretty hard to do! Something like rubbing your head and your tummy simultaneously.


Can't get enough of that thing, can you Domino? You're even crossing your eyes at it, now!


Aha! Something has taken Domino's attention away from smelly things (or has it?). Daddy could be smelly too for all we know. Domino is following Daddy down to the end of the street to the community mailbox.


And here she is on her way back. Dante is stalking her now. Of course, he can't go any further because he's leashed.


Daddy is looking back at Domino telling her to hurry up now! She tends to doddle, you know.




And as an extra-special added feature, I made a video of the rest of the trip home. Of course, it's not the best, and I hope my high-pitched voice doesn't turn everyone off. When I hear it I just want to plug my own ears.

It does illustrate Domino's sheepish ways, though. She loves to follow people -- only those she knows. And she never goes farther than the mailbox.

You'll be glad to know she and Daddy are safe and sound back at home. What an adventure she had today!
