3-D FRIDAY FAVOURITES!

I thought today I'd just pick some of my most favourite pictures from recent photoshoots (at least those that I haven't already posted), featuring all three of my beloved 3-Ds.  So, without further ado, here they are!

Domino, welcoming you to our home.  Daddy's on the bench.

TUXY TUESDAY: EXTREME DOMINO

Domino fears nothing -- not even an extreme close-up!  As you can see, she is a flawless, natural beauty.

Well, maybe a few of those chin hairs could use a trimming!

How many models do you know who would allow you to look up their nose?

Domino thinks she deserves modelling gigs with a higher profile.

Even her extremities are extremely photogenic!

There aren't enough extreme adjectives in the English language to describe Domino, but I'll give it a try.

Alluring, Beguiling, Classy, Dreamy,  Exotic,  Fabulous, Gorgeous, Heavenly, Incredible, Joyful, Kinetic, Loving,  Marvelous, Nimble, Original, Precious, Quixotic, Romantic, Supreme, Tantalizing, Unique, Vivacious, Winsome,
Xtraordinary  (OK, I cheated on this one), Youthful, Zesty!

Let's face it (like Domino has) -- she's simply FURnomenal!

MANCAT MONDAY: THE SUN SETS ON DYLAN

There's nothing like the light from the setting sun as it illuminates the earth (and your cat).  In this photoshoot, we are featuring that versatile mancat of mine, named Dylan, as the sun is just beginning to go down.

These photos are presented in the order in which they occurred.  Dylan doesn't stay put in any one spot for long.

Dylan on the front porch with Domino enjoying the evening air.

Dylan having a roll on the bricks with the sun just beginning to light up his fur.

Dylan patrolling the walkway, with Dante in the background.  The sun hits the birdbath just as Dylan passes by.

Here's Dylan back on the other side of the yard again, stopping to smell the flowers; backlit by the sun.

Dylan looks rather angelic as the sun gives him a halo effect.

Dylan likes to set his own benchmark ...

... before he sits on it!

Dylan fairly glows!

Here, the sun is painting stripes of light on the lawn and lighting up the edges of Dylan's fur.

Dylan's got that sun-kissed look!

All three of the 3-Ds join in the action, as Dylan takes center stage.
(It's rare to capture them in the same shot.)

Even though it's Monday, it's been a very good 'sun day'.  Dylan chillaxes as day turns to night.

"Hey!  Who turned out da lites?"

3-DS ON THE LOOKOUT

Today, we have all three of the 3-Ds outside in the front yard.  Despite any little hassle that they may have, they really watch out for one another!

First, here's Domino down at the curb watching what's going on along the street.

She takes a brief look back to check that Dante is watching her.

Here he is, a sentinel in his "Pooh" outfit (more on that to come another day).

Dante turns to reluctantly pose for me (I think I have finally humiliated him with this unseemly costume), as Domino makes her way across the street to our neighbour's yard.

And here's a very short video of Domino sprinting back across the street after trolling her territory on the other side:  DOMINO'S SPRINT

Next, it's Dante's turn to explore the purrimeters of our property with Dylan taking the lookout post.  (You will note that Dante is now free of his "Pooh" shirt -- he didn't dare go out until I took it off.)

Dylan gives me a momentary photo-op as he briefly glances away.

And then stands on stoic watch to make sure his brother doesn't come to any harm.

It's fun to hide in the long grass and watch what comes and goes on the street.

Dante makes his way back under Dylan's watchful eye.

It certainly puts my mind at ease to know that my kitties look out for each other.   Love is all around.  Now isn't that profound?

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: CANDID CAMERA

Usually Domino is very aware of the camera, and is ready with one of her modelling poses.  So, this is a rare shot of her captured unawares!  (No, I don't mean she was wearing 'unnawares' -- in fact, she's totally naked.)

You can see that look of surprise on her pretty little face.  Totally candid!

According to Domino, though, who told me afterwards she really, really doesn't like surprises, this is a big 'candon't'.

So, for the next time, let's remember that song by dear old Britney Spears that went something like "Oops!  I did it again!"  Anyone can make the same mistake twice.

3-D MANCAT MONDAY: THE BIG BUTTINSKI

In my opinion, mancats are buttcentric.  They're always sniffing butts, or cleaning butts, or making someone else the butt of their jokes.  I mean, I have never, ever witnessed Domino even attempting to sniff tail.  It's certainly not her preferred greeting.

Dante, on the other paw, is a butt-sniffur extraordinaire!
Here he is doing his best to butter up Dylan.

He has to get his nose right in there and inhale deeply.

Butt, even when Dylan moves his butt outta there, Dante still purrsists in getting one last whiff.

Only when access is completely denied, does Dante turn his attention elsewhere -- to himself!

Dylan figures it's safe to relax now that Dante's otherwise occupied.

And, of course, it's not long before Dante turns his attention to his own butt.
Dylan, on the other cheek, seems somewhat disgusted by his brother's rebuttal.

"Well, as long as he's not butting into my business, that's all that matters", says Dylan.

And here's one last FLASH of 'The Big Buttinski'.
Dante is such a purrvert.

In the end (pun intended), Dylan leaves Dante all bummed out!

Is there a moral to this tail?  I think not.
