DYLAN'S FLIGHT PATTERN

Dylan has always admired Santa's reindeer's ability to fly.  He wrote to Santa telling him about his lifelong dream that he could join the reindeer herd on Christmas Eve when they make their epic flight around the world.

To Dylan's surprise, he opened the front door earlier this week, and there stood Rudolph!

"Hi Dylan.  I'm here to teach you how to fly!"

So, Rudolph strapped Dylan into his reins and bells, gave him instructions on how to begin, and supervised his PURRogress very closely.

"You've just got to let go!", exclaimed Rudolph.  "No holding on with your toenails."

Several hours later Dylan had 'nailed it' (without using his toenails).  Rudolph had helped him to make some adjustments.  Changing his antlers to a sleeker design made him more aerodynamic.

And with Rudolph's encouragement, Dylan gained confidence.  You see, in order to fly, you must first believe that it's PAWSible.  Of course, a sprinkle of magic reindeer dust doesn't hurt either.

"You've done it my boy!" shouted Rudolph in glee.  "Welcome to the herd."

"Dat's da best fing I herd inna long time!", said Dylan.  "Fank yoo, Rudolph for teachin' me how ta fly."

So on Christmas Eve when you look up in the sky, there will be Santa with his eight tiny reindeer, and one big hunk of a cat in the lead!

"Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to work we go, go, go!"

DOMINO DOES A-WREATHA!

When we told Domino we wanted to do a shot of her with A WREATH, she kind of put her own spin on it.

Here is A WREATH ...

... and here is ARETHA (Franklin, that is) in her now-famous 2008 inauguration hat.

And last of all, here is A-WREATHA!

Domino does it, again.

DYLAN DOES A LITTLE SELF-TUDORING!

Dylan has dressed up as a 'Yeoman of the Guard' for Christmas.  He thinks being a 'Yo Man' is kind of cool.

Historically, it's more than just cool --it's a real honour!  The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard are a bodyguard of the British Monarch.  It is the oldest British military corps still in existence and was created by Henry VII in 1485.  As a token of this venerability, the Yeomen still wear red and gold uniforms of Tudor style.

Coincidentally, Santa wears red, too, and he goes "Ho, ho, ho" --  but what do Yeomen say Dylan?

"Yo! Yo! Yo!", says he.  "Merrrrrrrrry Chrismuss!"

Now who's the scaredy-cat?

CATS OF CHRISTMAS PAST (IN 3-D)

Here are some soft and glowing images of each of my 3-Ds in a Christmas past.  You might say they are what remains of the Christmas spirit from Christmases gone by.  PURRhaps these are the real ghosts of Christmas past!

Biggify for best view.

Dante

"Past schmast", says Dante.

Dylan

"What we really want is ...", says Dylan.

Domino

"Christmas present!" says Domino.

"An' lotsa dem!" say all three in unison.

"Now that's the spirit", says I.

"Not!"

A 3-D CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

It's December and the 3-Ds are getting ready for Christmas!  They are already in the spirit of giving.

Dante has passed hats out to all the birds in the neighbourhood so they can keep their little heads warm.
"I doan like frozen foods", says he.

Dylan is taking contributions for his Christmas "Slush Fund".  He wants to buy boots for all those in need so they don't get their feet wet during the January thaw.
"I wont it to be said dat no toes got watah-logged on my watch!"

And Domino is just a delight!  She is the star of the show, as usual, and has taken it upon herself to decorate the neighpurrhood.
"Somewun's gotta has da balls ta step up -- or down -- as da case may be!"

And now, let's Countdown to Christmas!
