Of course, being a tuxy ladycat, she is, herself, the extreme embodiment of light and shadow in her black and white coat.
I turned these pictures into 'Watercolour' paintings using Photoscape, and added frames to complement them. Here is Domino completely in shadow looking out at the new stone walkway which is bathed in light.
Her curiosity compels, as well as PURRopels, her forward!
Here, Domino's shadow literally overshadows her. It is much more imposing than her tiny form. The darker patches on the stone are actually ice, which Domino is doing her utmost to avoid.
There she goes -- hotfooting it out of there! The sun has warmed her back, and the parts of the stone which have absorbed its heat have warmed her toes.
Domino's PURRtrayal of a SHADY character with a SUNNY CATitude has painted a very PAWSitive picture, indeed! To truly appreciate all the subtle, and not-so-subtle shades of light and shadow, I recommend 'biggifying' them.
