TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: RELENTLESS

Domino is a feisty little one.  I know from personal experience that when she wants something, she's not one to give up -- no matter how long it may take to get it.

Last night she wanted my foot, and by Cod, she finally caught it.  Not only that but she 'owned' it.  It's a very strange feeling to not be in possession of your own appendage.  Eventually she let me have it back.

Anyway, this is a story of relentlessness.  Some of the pictures are a little fuzzy because I couldn't take time to focus properly or I would miss the shot altogether.

Domino is hunched near the bottom of the crabapple tree.

She is deeply focussed on her quarry.  "Hello Quarry!", she says.  "How are you today?"

"I'm a little off my nut, Domino" replies Quarry, "but thanks for askin'."

 After discarding his nut, Quarry makes a bold move and skitters down the tree.

Domino leaps into action and gives chase.  Quarry is barely a bodylength ahead.

But in a burst of speed to save his life, Quarry escapes up the maple tree.

"Yoor just a big tease!", exclaims Domino.

"Tee hee hee!" taunts Quarry who is now on top of the fence.  "Jus' try to get me -- I dares yoo!"

The determined Domino cannot let this challenge go.

She was up the crabapple tree and onto the fence in an instant!

"Darn that thing!", says Domino.  "It's escaped into the neighpurr's yard."

She hears Quarry giggling on the other side.

So she takes the plunge.

"Unfortunately, my Quarry was one step ahead of me all the way", says Domino.  "But I shall not rest until he is mine one day."

What Domino does not yet realize is that Quarry is equally unrelenting.  They are a good match in that department.

This nutcase may be very hard to crack.  Game on!
