This is rather a long tale told mostly in pictures. The postures and expressions tell the story in themselves (with a little embellishment from moi).
I was sitting there further down on the bench from Domino, thinking that this was a drama about to take place -- and I was not disappointed. Whenever Dylan comes anywhere near Domino, the result is always disastrous. Dylan is the definition of a pesky little brother. And he doesn't know when to stop.
Domino must constantly remind him who is boss. Ah, but I'm getting ahead of myself. See for yourself how this tale unfolds. I have presented the pictures in the sequence in which they were taken.
It's a great day to get some fresh air!
Or is it? Dum, dum, dum!
Maybe if I ignore it, it will stay away.
No such luck!
As Dylan sniffs, Domino's sense of foreboding rises.
Maybe if I turn my back to him, he'll go away, she thinks.
The suspense is killing me, even if he isn't! Yet.
By now, Dylan has totally encircled his prey.
And Domino is still praying he'll leave.
Time for another whiff! These gas barbecues can give you a buzz.
Domino looks away, hoping Dylan will get the hint.
Dylan looks away, hoping to keep Domino off guard!
Finally, the inevitable attack from the rear. How undignified!
Hissssssssssssssssssssssssss!
I am Queen. How dare you touch my royal PURRson?
Still all puffed up from her rather unpleasant encounter, Domino moves to a more solitary place on the bench.
Domino is incredulous! He certainly didn't get the hint.
Her Highness is most displeased at this point. Just look at her face!
She tells Dylan "You stay over there and don't come any closer or there will be hell to pay".
There's a definite chill in the air and it isn't because of the snow.
Someone approacheth!
Who could it be?
O brother! Now there's two of them!

Wonderful photo-story. It's a lot like the dynamics in our house with Annie and Nicki, except Nicki actually will jump on her. The noise that ensues is not soothing and in fact often scares the bejeebers out of me. Sometimes fur flies too, and I usually end up running for the water bottle to squirt at them.
So Domino has our (mine and Annie's) sympathies!
Ah. An all too familiar play that we see enacted daily. Poor Domino. You get no respect from your BrOTHERs, do you?
poor domino can never catch a break
Domino, we feel your pain dear. We have a pesky brofur too, his name is Ferris!
Domino, we all can sympatize because in our house there is always a pesky someone around - little brother, big brother, big sister, you name it we have the combo!
MOL.....Poor Domino, what a cross she has to bear!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx
Domino, Angel knows your pain. Kirby does the same thing to her!
Poor Domino! Those orange guys just want love!
Brothers can be sooo peksy! Poor Domino! Cute story.
Brothers! They are always ruining our good times!
Such adventure!! Poor Domino. She looks so small next to Dylan.
Domino, you're a true angel. You remain so calm and patient with that silly Dylan.
Domino reminds me of my little Boo who has the same exact problem with her pesky brother Ping. He loves nothing more than to devilishly play with her and she will put her ears back and HISSSSSSSSS at him. Great story telling!

Poor Domino. It must be annoying when Dylan won't take the hint.
Must be rough being the only female between two mancats.
Hopefully Dante will help Domino out in putting Dylan in his place.
We'd be honored to be featured on your LOL Spot!! Thanks so much for thinking of us!
POOR Domino having to be the only girl to deal with her two broFURs! As much as the boys seem to like to keep company, my girls appreciate their space and solitude! They will play on their own terms! Domino is a good sPURRt to put up with the guys!
