DOMINO: OUT STANDING IN THE SNOW

Here's a lovely portrait of Domino outside in the back yard in December.

There's nothing like the black-on-white contrast to make a tuxedo cat stand out in the snow.

"Speshully wen Mama closes da back door so yoo cant get in!"  opines Domino.

DYLAN: HATUS MANUS CATUS -- WHAT A HOOT!

Dylan's oozing whimsy today in his multi-colour owl hat.  He and his owl friend are the eyes and ears of the neighpurrhood, so to speak.

To heighten his visual acuity Dylan is sporting a pair of Harry Potteresque eyeglasses.  And instead of his usual scarf, he is wearing a multi-colour striped neckwarmer.  On his wrist is a blue and yellow striped Tudor watch, as he insists on being timely.

The owl, though is feeling a bit uneasy.  She feels like she may have forgotten something back at home in the woods.  Then suddenly she remembers ...

... "I'm coming baby!!!" she exclaims (leaving Dylan to hold the fort in the neighpurrhood watch).

"Who???" asks baby.

DOMINO: HATTY CATTY ALL DECKED OUT FOR WINTER!

Domino is on the back deck and dressed for the cold weather.

She is wearing a stylish dark brown animal print velour cap with black bow, and around her neck is a brown velour scarf with pompoms, secured with a brass-coloured Victorian cat brooch.

Voila!

Her mittens coordinate nicely with the outfit, but more importantly they keep her little toesies warm.

Domino's handbag is a brown and gold batik-patterned leather.  And there's a cheeky little chappy sitting atop.  He has taken advantage of the nuts that Domino kindly left out for him and his fellow creatures of the wild.

"Fank yoo verreh MUNCH, Domino!"

DYLAN & DOMINO: KEEPING YOUR DISTANCE

Dylan and Domino know that there's something to be said for keeping your distance.  When these two get too close to each other it never ends very well.

 On this day, they appear to have reached a silent agreement.

 They are each willing to look the other way.

And to keep their feet firmly planted in their own spot.

Who knows, maybe this "daytente" will also lead to a much closer relationship at bedtime!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANTE & DOMINO: WHO'S THE BOSS?

DYLAN: HATUS MANUS CATUS IN EARLY DECEMBRRR

Dylan's been busy scraping the ice off the deck.  He needed to dress up warmly in order to do it.

Dylan is wearing a wool taupe plaid flatcap which covers his deliCAT ears.  He also has a wool Louis Vuitton scarf in brown, taupe and gray with red around his neck and he has put on taupe suede mittens so he doesn't freeze his toesies.

And he's sporting a timepiece, as usual, so that he doesn't forget and spend too much time out in the cold.  It's a gorgeous white gold watch with gray face and gray alligator leather band.

Dylan thinks if he can scrape up enough ice that he can make an ice sculpture out of it.  However, I don't really think he's thought it through.

I may have spoken too soon.  Purrhaps 'The Icemancat Cometh' after all!

DOMINO: HATTY CATTY IN EARLY DECEMBER

Domino is all hatted up for the colder weather because we have snow!

She is wearing a warm wool dark taupe Lindy hat with plum-coloured band.  Her stylish scarf is a teal green with pink and burgundy ovals, fastened with a gold broach with baroque bird.  See?

Domino is also wearing her requisite bracelet made of pastel gems in pinks, blues and greens.  Her massive bag ties the entire outfit together in brown, pink and burgundy.

Domino's friend the snowlady, waiting out back for her, is impatient to go shopping for more winter attire, but Domino wants to make her own snow-creature before they leave.

There, that didn't take long, did it?
