DOMINO: VALENTINE VIXEN

As promised last week, after the sneak peek of Domino in her pink Valentine's dress, this is the photoshoot proPURR.  She is wearing this dress again, today, just for her darling Milo.

Domino hops up on the porch chair.  It's the best place for a photoshoot in the winter.

The dress has a comfortable jersey bodice, decorated with a large heart on the back.

Here's a close-up of the heart which has a lustre much like her own.

Not only is Domino a great model, but she's an acrocat, too!  She hops up on the back of the chair to show you her balancing act.

Model PURRfection!

Pretty in pink!  And another purrfect pose.  Note the details on the jersey skirt which is covered by a layer of transparent tule with dark pink sparkles.  It's sparkly -- just like Domino's PURRsonality!

Domino throws her head back for dramatic effect!

And makes a three-point turn on her balance beam.  Note the deliCAT PAWsitioning of her front feet.

Domino is sure-footed and confident at efurry turn.

As she hops down, you get a better view of the back of the dress to full effect.

And as a finale, she poses prettily on the edge of the seat cushion.  What beauty!  What grace!

Domino chose her faFURite picture from this photoshoot to make a Valentine's Day card for Milo.

And Milo is standing by for her arrival at his home in Sidmouth, England.  They are spending the day together, of course!

This is their official Valentine's Day PURRtrait.  Aren't they a lovely couple?

And, finally, when all is done, Domino and Milo take some time to relax and enjoy each other wearing nothing but their matching tuxy coats!

Happy Valentine's Day efurryone!

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: PICADOORABLE!

This is a sneak peek at Domino in her Valentine's Day outfit.  The pictures were taken after the actual photoshoot, but I continued to snap away as she relentlessly attempted to open the door.

Afterwards, upon viewing the results, I figured it could be presented as a pictorial on "How to Pick A Door", by Domino.  My adoorable little 'picadoor' tried every move pawsible to get that thing open, but the door stood fast against her repeated jabs.  In the end, though, Domino uses other, more effective, methods of PURRsuasion, as you will see.

Here is Domino in her special Valentine's Day dress.  Isn't it sweet?
She's going to wear it for Milo when the special day comes.  But, right now, she's had enough and just wants to go inside.

Not one to wait on ceremony, Domino takes matters into her own paws.

"PURRhaps if I puts PURRessure on this spot, it'll pop open", she says.

When that didn't happen, she applied even more pressure.  Surely two paws and a muzzle would do it!

"Maybe just a gentle tap is bettah!"

When that doesn't work, she changes tactics and tries out her telekinetic abilities.
"I fink I can, I fink I can ..."

Domino stops to collect her thoughts before ...

... trying the strongarm aPURRoach!

"Maybe if I frows mai whole weight against it, it'll budge a bit", she says, ever-hopeful.

"Well, I has PAWSited efurryfing PAWsible.  Now dere's only wun fing left to try ..."

...  BEGGING!

"Mew, mew, mew!"

So in the end, cuteness is mightier than any kind of physical PURRowess.  It was the key to mama's heart (and ultimately, the door, of course).

Tune in next week, on the 14th, for Domino's Valentine's Day photoshoot.

MANCAT MONDAY WITH DYLAN: SNOWBUNNY

Dylan was bound and determined he was going to go out!  He's had enough of staying indoors.  In fact, he's going downright squirrelly  (something he learned from our furiend Furnando)!  He races up and down the stairs playing THoE* all by himself -- unherd of, I know, but it's true.  *(Thundering Herd of Elephants)

So, here's what happened when Dylan stepped out the front door.

At least the walkway was clear of snow -- not so cold on the tootsies!  And it makes it easier to sniff things out.

But, of course, Dylan is not satisfied with that.  His eyes are elsewhere.

So he tests the depths of the drifts, following in the footsteps of beasts who have gone before.

But it gives him PAWS ...

... cold PAWS, that is!
"Enuff of dis", says he.  Let's see wot's outside mai back door."

So Dylan is released into the back yard, only to find the same circumstances.

It does smell a little different back, here, though.
"I deteckts de distinkt awoma of wabbit!", declares Dylan.

And he's right! There were rabbit footprints on the deck.
"I sees de evidents!", says he.

Bunny Tracks!

So, Dylan looks around him, but the bunnies have long since gone.

"Dere's nuffin like a nice bun at dinnah -- o well!"

"Yoor snowbunny till sumbunny loves you!" he sighs.

"I gess dat makes ME a SNOWBUNNY."

That's not true, Dylan.  You are very much loved by your Mom and Dad and brofur and sisfur.  It's just the bunnies that aren't crazy about you.  And that's only because you want them for suPURR -- not as guests, but as the main course, of course!

So, Dylan, too, can only dream of Spring, when he won't be snowbound anymore, and when all the bunnies will come out to play.

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: BEAUTY IN WINTER!

There is a certain beauty in winter -- the crisp white snow with bluish shadows cast by the sun is a PURRfect foil for Domino.  When she poses against such a backdrop, its beauty is increased a thousandfold.

The tuxy black stands out sharply in these scenes, while the tuxy white sometimes appears to disappear into it.

Even though the temPURRatures are freezing, and the snow is piled high, PURRhaps now you can see beauty in winter, too.  All you have to do is look!
