TUXY TUESDAY: DOMINO TRIED AND TRUE!

Today, Domino had a visitor come to call on her. He is an ex-suitor, that just didn't suit her!

You may recognize Figaro (Figgy for short) from previous posts about him. He is a neighbour kitty who has a romantic history with Domino. They were boyfriend and girlfriend for a couple of years and used to run around together at night during the summer months. They had even considered marriage, when Domino found out that Figgy was cheating on her with a number of other ladycats in the area.

Figgy may not be a Tiger, but he is one big cheat of a house panther! He did everything Tiger "wood" do, and has paid the price. He has lost the affections of the beautiful Domino forever.

Dante looks on while Domino ignores Figgy.

Figgy is pleading with her to reconsider. He still loves her, he says.

Domino says: "You're HISS-tory!", and Figgy lowers his head in shame.

Figgy wants to know if they can still be friends ...

... but Domino just walks away.

Domino sits on the bench and thinks of Milo so far away! This encounter with Figgy has only made her yearn more for Milo.

Domino knows that Milo has been true to her, even though he has had the opportunity to see other ladycats when he is not with her.

Milo recently interviewed the beautiful and talented Nora, the piano-playing cat, but it was just business to Milo. He had only Domino in his heart. (Alfie, on the other hand, was being a bit flirtatious -- but that's okay!).

With her big brother looking on, Domino stares off into the distance once more, sending purrs of love across the ocean. Did you feel that, Milo?

Both Domino and Milo have been tried by circumstances that keep them apart, and yet they both still only have eyes and hearts for each other. Now that's true love -- and that's forever!

3-Ds SUNNY SATURDAY!

It's a sunny but cold Saturday, and the 3-Ds are enjoying the outdoors despite the lower temperatures.

This series of pictures shows all three of them interacting in different ways. It's rare to get all three in one picture, but I almost succeeded in one instance. Generally, it's only two kitties at a time, or a single.

Domino likes to sit on the cast iron bench, usually beside me, but this time I was on the front porch. The yellow bag contains peanuts in the shell for the little black demons. Yes, I feed them! We have to admit we actually enjoy their antics.

Since there are so many pictures, which I have downloaded in the sequence that they occurred in real life, I'll just let them tell the story of the day. No major events, no chases, just enjoying each other and the great outdoors.

If you look closely at this picture, you will note that there are actually three cats in it. I just caught Dylan's ears at the bottom right.

Have a great Saturday, everyone!

TUXY TUESDAY: DAZZLING DOMINO!

Even though the sun is shining, the temperatures are quite a bit colder than just last week. Of course, today is the first day of December so we can't expect anything else.

Domino saunters over to the front bench and tucks herself in against the cold, allowing any warmth from the sun to penetrate her fur. She looks just dazzling in the sunlight, don't you think?

Domino's normally black fur shows tinges of lighter patches when lit by the sun. There's some warm browns in there, too.

Domino is enjoying her brief respite in the sun, and doesn't even notice the evil squirrel behind her. Today isn't a day for chasing, anyway. It's Tuxy Tuesday, and time to dazzle everyone with her tuxedo charm.

Has she succeeded? I'm sure Milo thinks so.
