MANCAT MONDAY: THE BOYS ARE BACK!

These are pictures of my boys in the back yard, way back at the beginning of October. Some of the leaves had started to fall, but the flowers were still blooming -- a stark contrast to today when nary a flower can be seen, and most of the trees are bare.

Dylan takes the foreground in the first three shots, while Dante takes the background. I've always said that a good leader must also be a good follower (I'm not the only one to have ever said that, I'm sure).

Even the mancatliest of mancats must be ready to take the subordinate position from time to time. A real mancat is not threatened by allowing someone else to have the spotlight, or to share in their glory.

Finally, I was able to capture a close-up of each of these Mancats. The looks on their faces are demonstration enough of their forthrightness. The boys are always there to back each other up, whether they're in the back or the front. Baby, if you have a backbone, you've always "got back"! And you can't get more backup than that.

Back at ya, later!

Such gorgeous mancats!

We still have a ton of leaves on our trees, about 1/2 way there to bare trees.

Regarding Wendy's comment...

Samson definitely has the floof and he has the size to be part MC, but he doesn't have the signature fluff points on his ears. I know it's possible to have two or more fathers in a litter, but his brothers and sister are all short hair.

His sounds are unlike any cat I've ever heard, though. Grunts, coos...he's a very vocal kitty

It looks like the boys are extra-secure and confident when they are in each other's company! It's good to have friend you can count on.

ps: I read your question about tartar. There is a lot of information about kibble and feline teeth. It has pretty much been shown that kibble does not help with feline tartar. Here is a link to what I think is a pretty fair and balanced discussion you might be interested in:

Great pictures of the boys.
About the Dushi guitar playing picture: the guitar is photoshopped in the two photo's and then animated very basically: a slide show showing both for one second, continously.
