DOMINO'S NEW YEAR'S EVE DATE!

It's New Year's Eve, and Domino is waiting out on the front porch for her boyfriend, Milo, to arrive so they can go out dancing.  Domino's all dressed up in her black and gold dancing dress.  It will sparkle under the disco ball, but it's still comfortable enough to allow her to let loose on the dance floor.

Domino's very anxious for Milo to arrive safely.

She always worries when he's flying his boogie mat across the pond.

"Wot time is it, mama?  He shud be heer soon!"

Mama says it's only dinner time an' it's much too erly.  Milo's not supposta be heer until 8!

"But wait!  I heer sumfing!"

"Cud it be?  Alreddy???"

"It's him!  It's him!  Let da bells ring out an' da boogie mats fly -- it's him!

"Heer I am my darling Dommy!  I came erly to take yoo out to dinnah first, and den we'll hit da dance floor at da Pussycat Club!"

And so they did.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO YOU ALL!
2011 IS GOING TO BE GRRRRREAT!!!

A 3-D CAT CHRISTMAS! (In as few words as pawsible)

The 3-Ds were quite busy over Christmas.  They entertained company on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Domino entertains Grampa and our furiend, Marilyn.

Domino likes all the attention.

Got milk!

Dante joins us at the dinner table.

This is what he sees!  That's our Uncle Barry behind the candle, and there's salmon on that plate!!!

Now they're opening PURResents.

But Domino is the best one of all!

Daddy sure likes to talk!

Grampa's better at giving pats.

CHRISTMAS DAY

We had our own company Christmas morning, and mama poured on the catnip for us!

This is our nephew, Sox.  He belongs to our brotherbean, Ryan.  Mama was so busy taking pictures of us cats, she forgot to take any of her own son!

Dante's trying to talk some sense into Sox, but it just isn't working.  We think he may be a drug addict.

This is our niece, Missy, but when she's at our house we call her "Hissy" (for good reason).

That Sox is such a clown!

Dylan has been guarding the Christmas tree.

He wants to make sure nobody steals his stuff.

This is what the tree looked like on Christmas Day.  Can you see what's at the very top of it?

Mama got a new treetopPURR this Christmas.  It is a cat in Santa's clothing!

This is our mantle.  There are a few cats on it, too!

This is a very special ornament.  It was a PURResent for Mama from Auntie Carm (aka Crazy Cat Lady Carm), and it looks just like Domino!

This is our Uncle Barry who came back for dinner on Christmas Day.  They had roast beast but we didn't have any.  We did get lots and lots of nip and treats, though.

THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS

This is what Mama calls "The Aftermath".  We don't know why, though, because we didn't have to do any arithmatic at all!

Domino really got into the nip.  She was just too busy entertaining before this.

Dante and Dylan have a broFURly moment.

And Domino recycles all of the tissue paPURR!

THE END

DOMINO: TUXY TUESDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS!

Poor Domino!  If you follow Domino's modelling career, you know that she just loves to pose, but what she hates more than anything are hats (or hoods).

To be fair, this was not mama's idea.  Domino's Auntie Susan gave her this gorgeous Santa hat.  Now it would be rude not to wear it, at least once, don't you think?

Domino is such a good sport.  Here's she sporting her new hat which happens to match her red Diva dress.

Mama ordered a Santa dress for Domino, but it hasn't arrived in the mail yet.  So the Diva dress will have to do under the circumstances.

Ah!  There are your beautiful green eyes, Domino!  She's not as used to these indoor photoshoots, and understandly closes her eyes against the flash most often.

Most kitties might find that bell annoying, but Domino, with her usual aplomb, tolerates it just fine.
What she won't sacrifice for the PURRfect photoshoot!

Awwww!  Isn't this cute?  Domino with her Dada.  As a bonus you get a tummy and toesies shot!
(Biggify to see them closer)

Domino would like to wish efurryone out there a Mewy Chrismouse.  She's going to visit Milo on Chrismouse Eve -- and she'll be there with bells on (of course).

MERRY MANCAT MONDAY WITH DYLAN AND DANTE!

Real mancats DO dress up!  Even Dylan, who is famously anti-clothing agreed to put on a red scarf as a salute to this festive season.

Seeing him in this crimson garb, reminds me of one of my most favourite songs titled "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas".  The lyrics, especially the first line, sum it all up:

"OH, YOUR RED SCARF MATCHES YOUR EYES,
YOU CLOSED YOUR COVER BEFORE STRIKING,
FATHER HAD THE SHIPFITTER BLUES,
LOVING YOU HAS MADE ME BANANAS"

Is anybody familiar with this song?

Well, at least Dylan did NOT go bananas!  He tolerated his red scarf quite well until he finally managed to wriggle out of it.  Mama is seriously indebted to him for providing this once-in-a-lifetime photo op.  And while the red scarf may not match his eyes, it certainly complements them.  Red is a very becoming colour on him, don't you think?

And then there's Dante!  The veteran wearer of outfits in every colour under the sun.  Once again, red is PURRticularly 'suited' to him  -- especially in this Santa suit!  You have to admit he really stands out in the snow, doesn't he?  I guess it's a little too chilly to lie down.

Dante strikes a pose against the dark green of the front door.  He's having a real ball, can't you tell?

Dante's in the mood for a "HOdown".
"Ho, ho, holy hood", he says.  "Get dis fing offa me!"

Dylan and Dante wish efurryone out there a truly Merry Mancat Monday!  They hope the sacrifice of their dignity for your amewsment (and mine) has brought you some seasonal joy.

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: STAR TREETMENT!

While the boys honed in on the decoration of the Christmas tree (see yesterday's post), Domino took a laidback approach.  She just relaxed and watched from across the room, until mama literally got in her face with the flashy box.  This ultimately caused her to leave the vicinity only to return after the deed was done.

Domino was just keeping an eye on things ...

... she was purrfectly content ...

... until mama flashed that bulb in her eyes ...

... and kept bugging her to turn her head.

Mama thought the little PURRsed lips were so very, very cute.

But that wasn't enough! Much to Domino's 'chat' grin, mama just kept pestering her.

So she stood up for herself and exited stage right!  The real star has left the room.  The one on top of the tree can't hold a candle to Domino ('cause she doesn't want her fur to catch fire!).
