This is a series of pictures of Dylan standing on the ledge of the half-wall between our kitchen and our family room. It's actually a cut-out in the wall which forms the ledge. This is where I place Domino's own personal dish of food so she is not bothered by the boys -- especially by Dylan. However, it doesn't stop him from noshing on her food anyway -- it just means only one of them can be up there at a time.
Anyway, Dylan has a direct line of sight, from his vantage point, through the patio doors to the back yard. He always cracks me up because of the look on his face when he's spotted something of interest. His wide eyes get even wider and he has a look of both fascination and alarm at the same time. There certainly must be some "introoder" to stir up such a reaction.
I was able to capture some mighty nice close-ups of the boy and his silly faces. I hope you enjoy then, too. Dylan is always good for a giggle!

aww he looks so interested! How cute! When my cat does stuff like that he's usually on the floor and sometimes I'll get down with him and start looking and then he'll look at me like I'm crazy. LOL
Great pictures! Something definitely grabbed his attention.
I love the wide, googly eyes! Such a beautiful shade of green, too.
And he always has a smile to go with that intent look. Great pictures.
Dylan, mummy thinks you have very similar expressions to my brother Inigo!! (and she wants to kiss you like she does with him.. yuck!)
Oh, "silly" is about the last word we'd use to describe Dylan's face. "Strikingly handsome and mancatly" is much more like it.
Dylan is such a handsome boy!
We like to see wide interested eyes.
I know I've said this before but we just love Dylan so much! He reminds us of our dear angel cat Maxfield.
Jonesie still does garden posts all winter long. She looks out the window at snow...looks through seed catalogs, goes in the greenhouse to clean and prepare tools, complains about the dreary weather and plans for the garden next year and patiently waits for the first sign of any life or color...the list is endless. She dreams of her furriends gardens on the other side of the world too. A garden cats work is never done.
Very nice... I love the way digital photography will blacken the background when it is front lit... It accentuates the subject so nicely!!! Dylan is a PURRfect subject!!!
Love those intense eyes!!!!!
Handsome fella - beautiful close-ups. His coloring is very like my cousin Audrey's.
Fabulous.
PS: our noo family blurpy has arrived! It's a gerl!
Love Milo xx
