THANKFUL THURSDAY WITH DYLAN & HALLE: THINGS ARE LOOKING UP!

Dylan gave Halle a beautiful engagement collar on New Year's Eve, but she has not had an opportunity to really show it off, until now.

Both of them are still over the moon with excitement and joy!  Halle holds her head up with pride to show you what Dylan has given her.

The collar is studded with two rows of diamonds and has a bow-shaped diamond accent.  Dylan wasn't one to skimp on the diamonds, that's fur sure!

It's not only the diamonds that sparkle, though.  Their future's SO bright, they've gotta wear SHADES!

To see more pictures of lovely Halle posing in her engagement collar, go to "Jacqueline's Cat House", today.

Dylan is so thankful all he can say is HALLElujah!

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: SHADES OF LIGHT AND SHADOW

Domino was outside very briefly in the enduring cold.  However, she afforded me an excellent oppportunity for a photoshoot with varying degrees of light and shadow.

Of course, being a tuxy ladycat, she is, herself, the extreme embodiment of light and shadow in her black and white coat.

I turned these pictures into 'Watercolour' paintings using Photoscape, and added frames to complement them.  Here is Domino completely in shadow looking out at the new stone walkway which is bathed in light.

Her curiosity compels, as well as PURRopels, her forward!

Here, Domino's shadow literally overshadows her.  It is much more imposing than her tiny form.  The darker patches on the stone are actually ice, which Domino is doing her utmost to avoid.

There she goes -- hotfooting it out of there!  The sun has warmed her back, and the parts of the stone which have absorbed its heat have warmed her toes.

Domino's PURRtrayal of a SHADY character with a SUNNY CATitude has painted a very PAWSitive picture, indeed!  To truly appreciate all the subtle, and not-so-subtle shades of light and shadow, I recommend 'biggifying' them.

MANCAT MONDAY WITH DYLAN: AS PRETTY AS A MANCAT CAN BE!

I walked into the living room this morning, and Dylan had draped himself over the sofa.  The sight was as pretty as a picture, so I made him into one -- well, four actually!

Even though it's winter outside, and as cold as can be, Dylan has made me think of Spring and flowers.  It's like a breath of fresh air while keeping warm and cozy inside.  Thanks, Dylan!

TUXY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO: MODEL OF PROPURRIETY!

Domino's fame as a top model has long been established.  She is instinctive and has a natural born elegance about her.  She's not one to fool around when her picture's being taken.  No, no, no ... she is the ultimate PURRofessional when she knows the camera is on her.

Domino makes love to the camera.  You would think your name was Milo or something!

She can also be pensive and a little remote.  A ladycat needs some secrets, after all.

On the other paw, Domino can be quite forthcoming!
"Yoo means I only came FOURTH?  I'm accustomed to bein' FURST!", she says indignantly.

Still poised, even though feeling slighted, Domino maintains her status as the camera's MEWS.

 She is an absolute ONE-DER!
"I'm numbah ONE, I'm numbah ONE -- an' doan yoo forgets it!"

Now here is the part of which Domino is completely unaware.  This is what happens when she doesn't know the camera's turned on.

I guess we'll call this the BLUE PURR Section!

This is one of those X-Pose-A's.  Domino has unintentionally X-Posed her Assets!
And if that wasn't bad enough ...

... this one must be some kind of cruel CHOKE!

When Domino finally realized what was happening, she hightailed it outta there.
"I reeleh doan noe how dis cudda happen'd", she says.  "It's all a BLUR to me!"

I guess the moral of this tail is that one must keep alert at all times.  It's not just unscrupulous papPURRazzi that one must watch out for -- sometimes it's your very own mother!  Good thing Domino can put this into PURRspective.  In the end, it's all relative.

EASY ON SUNDAY WITH DOMINO: A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

It's warmer out there today, and Domino is relaxing on the bench, and enjoying the fresh air.  It's not too fresh, you see -- not fresh frozen fur instance -- just fresh enough to fluff up her thick fur to keep her warm.

You can't even see Domino's breath!

 It's clearly invisible.

"But I'm not!", says she.

"C'mon ovah and share my bench wif me.  Da weddah's jus' fine!"

MANCAT MONDAY: DYLAN GOES WALK-ABOUT!

The warmer weather has finally tempted Dylan to venture outside.  Why, it's even melting out there!  Dylan hasn't been able to do his walk-abouts or refresh his scent marks for many weeks now.  So it's time to CATch up!

The rattan chair is full of smells.  Both Domino and Dante have left their PURRSonal FURgrances behind.

Dylan decides to claim a small piece of it for himself, too!  He's basically saying "Dylan Was Here" by rubbing his muzzle across the rattan strands.

And indeed, here he LOOKS a little stranded!  His ears are in alert position.

However, today, nothing will keep him from his appointed rounds.

Every corner of his domain must be PURRused and reclaimed.

 And then there's the bench.

"Dis is da first time I has bin BENCHED dis seeson!", says Dylan.

"Is good for takin' a time-out an' decidin' ware ta go next."

"These noo steps needs some sniffing, dat's fur sure."

"An' now I checks out da rest."

"I jus' wanna makes sure I kin make a kwik escape, doe. Mama's left da frunt door open a liddle bit.  Whew!"

Dylan is intrigued by a stray leaf ...

... but devastated by the dump of snow that blocks his path to the remainder of his territory.

He has this 'thing' about corners, and this one, by the garage, is no different.

Dylan's muzzle nuzzles the edges of the bricks to reinforce his mancatly PURResence.

"But wot am I gonna do about all of dis snow?", PAWnders Dylan.

"I noe!  I'll go back inside until it all disappears.  Kin yoo lets me IN, Mom?"

Now what do you think?  Did Mom let Dylan in, or did she close the door and leave him outside?  What would  YOU do if you saw this face?

TUXY & TABBY TUESDAY WITH DOMINO AND DYLAN: TABLE TOCK!

It was just before one of our holiday dinners, and we were about to set the table, when Domino decided to snooPURRvise.

"Nice tableclof guys -- let me sPURRinkle summa my furs on it!"

"Oh, I see Daddeh's sPURRinklin' sumfin, too -- verreh sparkleh.  Why, itz gold dust!

"Doan yoo fink I makes a good CENTERPIECE?"

And just at that moment, an aPURRition appeared -- it was the "Ghost of Christmas PRESENT!"

"Sum PRESENT!" says Domino.  "I finks I'll reGIFT it."

"Ware did she go?"

"Ah, heer she is!", says the Ghost.

"My, yoo is lookin' mighteh tasteh!", says he.

"I'm NOT on da menu!" declares Domino.

"So GHOST away!"

And with that, Domino takes steps of her own, leaving the Ghost in her dust!  Gold dust, that is.

"Ghost begone!", she exclaims -- and with that the "Ghost of Christmas Present" becomes a thing of the past.

"Now I kin reely get down ta bizness", says Domino.

"Aftah all, a CENTERPIECE hasta be sPURRarklin' clean!"

Domino always did like to be the center of attention.  And who can keep their eyes off that?
