Here's a hatted picture of Domino from the summer of 2015.
She always looked fabulous in PURRple, but then she looked fabulous in just about any colour. Her wide-brimmed woven deep PURRple hat with ivory floral embellishment sets off her natural complexion (i.e., her fur coat). And what a beautiful silver necklace with PURRple flower pendant she is wearing!
Finally, she chose a PURRple bag made of alligator leather with gold latch and strap fasteners. It all gives me butterflies!
Green-eyed Domino chose this same colour for all of her accessories in this picture from June 2016.
Her wide-brimmed green straw hat frames those eyes to great effect. And her purse in green leather is just about a purrfect match. She chose a silver necklace with green palm tree pendant as a fresh touch to the outfit. Fresh as a daisy, too, I might add!
Her froggy friend is a keen admirer of all things green. As soon as he saw Domino he hopped right to it.
Dylan had a wonderful fiance named Halle of Jacqueline's Cat House. Halle has been quietly grieving, but now it's time to share her memories of Dylan and the good times they had.
They fell in love soon after meeting, and it was all uphill from there!
Even though Halle and her family live in the deep south in the U.S., and Dylan lived in Ottawa, Ontario Canada north of the border, they always made sure they got together as often as possible, and always on special occasions.
Here are just a few of a weekend getaway in New Orleans:
These photos were provided by Halle's Mum Jacqueline and were produced by Ann Adamus of Zoolatry.
As a continuing tribute to Dylan and their love, I will be posting more pictures of Dylan and Halle together in the near future.
Domino's wigged out in her black braided faux coif.
Today she definitely has an oriental flair, with a peach lace fascinator and flowers in her hair. I think Domino was part chameleon because she always had the ability to morph completely into her surroundings. One never doubted her authenticity.
And with her natural black and white coat, she could pull off any colour and it would blend in purrfectly.
Domino was the first and last of her kind -- a regular CATmeleon!
It was one of those hot rather humid days, so she chose a light and airy cotton dress with spaghetti straps. It has a very cute design with the white and green polka dot top attached to a four-tiered white, and green-patterned skirt.
Domino's head is covered, as shade from the sun, in a breezy fedora-style white hat with green, peach and yellow feathers on the side. Her purse is what is called green "jelly" with tan trim and a peach flower applique. It's a perfect aside to her outfit.
Instead of a choker, Domino is wearing a sterling silver and green 'croaker'. All she could say was "Ribbit!" because of the frog at her throat.
The only thing more annoying than a frog is a whole chorus line of them.
Dylan's a cheeky chappy 'en chapeau' in this picture from 2014.
He certainly is colourful in his white, orange, purple and yellow plaid flatcap and outstanding purple, red and orange bowtie. Once again he is wearing a floral-banded wristwatch which ties into his schema. Even the butterfly fits into this pattern!
Some things never change -- even on the Rainbow Bridge, except that the colours are even brighter.
