I am currently retired after working for the Canadian Federal Government for 20 years, and then with Oracle Corporation as an applications consultant for several years after that.
Since I have retired, my primary occupation is taking pictures of my three cats: Dante, a 7-year old male Maine Coon Classic Red Tabby who weighs in at around 22 lbs., Dylan, an almost 5-year old male short-haired cream tabby who weighs about 14 lbs., and Domino, my little tuxy girl, who is 8 years old, only about 6 lbs. and is the boss (or dominatrix as I affectionately call her).
I prefer to take pictures of my feline subjects in natural light, and I sit out in all four seasons (weather permitting), so that I have shots of them in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The changing seasons make a good backdrop for the natural beauty of the feline being.
My cats are an endless source of admiration and fascination.
Domino, you are a tough little girl, like me. 'Cept I don't like the ices and snows. We are finally having seasonably cold weather here in northern Virginia, and I am staying in the warmest spots in the house. I did have a little accident that startled me and my mom. I fell asleep on the desktop and then my head went limp over the edge, and my body followed all the way to the ground. I'm okay, though.
Even if you don't have a problem with exploring in the snow, Domino, I can't say you look all that thrilled with it! In fact you look a teensy bit annoyed at it!

We may start calling you Miss Adventurous! You are pretty in the snow
Looks like you are enjoying the snow. Be careful you don't get your toesies too chilly though.
Ya done good Domino, my whiskers are still shivering just from thinking about it!
I wouldn't have expected anything less from our lovely diva :-)
Your toes must stay warm better than mine. I would not like that at all.

That's my girl!
Love Milo xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Domino's B&W is so pretty against the freshly fallen snow. It has to be cold and freezy against those pink little toes! Happy New Years pretty girl!
wow you really are brave and adventurous. we don't get snow where we live, but we don't like cold anyway.
go back in and have your toesies warm by the fire.
