3-D MANCAT MONDAY: MANCATS IN THE HOOD

Here is Dante, and he's wearing a hoody.  As you can see, it's Adidas -- coveted by all the best-dressed 'hood cats.

I'm also talking about the hood in the larger sense, i.e., the neighbourhood.  So basically, Dante is doing double duty here wearing his hoody in the hood.  He is standing beside our next-door neighbour's porch, which all my cats figure really belongs to them.

As well as his shirt, Dante is wearing his leash, so this is as far as he can go in this direction.  Dante is on a leash because I signed a contract with his breeder that stated I would not allow him to run free, even if it's not to his liKING!

Dante is the leader of his neighbourhood gang.  There are only a few members, and Dylan is one of them.

"Mama bought me a new hoody so I could hang out in style", says Dante.  "Isn't it subLIME?"

"Hey bro!", says Dylan.  "What a great shirt!"

Dylan is really thinking to himself that he wouldn't be caught dead in such a thing.  Last time mama tried to put something on him, he wriggled right out of it.

Dylan, being unconstrained by leash or shirt, jumps up on the porch.

"Sh", says Dante. "Something's up over dere."

"Oh, it's just some woofie leadin' his master down da street!  Dose woofies has the right idea."

"Hey, dude", says Dylan.  "I see that mama's got you on a short leash again!  Whassup wif dat, anyway?"

Dante replies "I dunno.  She said sumfing about sumbuddy havin' a contract out on me.  So I guess she's tryin' to keep me safe."

"Bummer!"

Dante seems taken aback.  "Is you makin' fun of me or sumfing?"

"I'm still Dante, King of dis Naypurrhood an' doan you forgets it!  And you is supposta be my loyal subject, bro!"

And with that, Dante, King of the Hood, changes the subject (i.e., leaving Dylan behind).  He's off to check out things in the furthest reaches of his Kingdom (which is as far as the end of his leash)!

Bummer!

Dante, you do look good in your green hoodie. We hate clothers or collars or anything on our body. Those are super pictures of you two. You are both so darn handsome. What a good boy you are Dante to go on the leash. Hope all of you have a great week.
