Here are my kitties back outside where they most like to be. When it's sunny, rolling around on the patio seems to be the cativity of choice. Of course there's always lounging on the bricks, or taking refuge under the patio furniture for shade.
One would think when there's nice soft grass around, that kitties would purrfur to spend their time on the lawn, but no, they like the hardness of the stone instead. Go figure!

I'll bet the stones are warm! The grass might be soft, but also might be cold and damp!

interesting conversation. All kitz like to roll around on cement walks and hard surfaces outside. My old cats did it all the time. I don't know why..maybe because of the abrasive texture..that it scratches them some..and we all know how they love those scritchens. Very nice pix!
